Alten Lodge is where Sixty8 winters began. Nine double rooms in the main lodge, three cabins beside it, and space for 35 guests. A sauna and an outdoor hot tub wait for you after the cold, and the fjord, the mountains and the Finnmarksvidda are all within reach. You take the whole place, and it is yours.

Bring your own group, or join one of our hosted weekends.
Bespoke. Tell us who is coming and what you want from the Arctic. We build the weekend around your group: snowmobiles, dog sleds, northern lights hunts, RIB safaris on the fjord, and dinners worth the flight.
Hosted Sixty8 weekends. A few times each winter we run the lodge ourselves, with a planned schedule and one table every evening. Dates to follow. Enquire now and you will hear first.

How many guests can Alten Lodge take?
Up to 35, across nine double rooms and three cabins. For smaller or larger groups we have a network of lodges across northern Norway.
How do I get to Alta?
Alta has its own airport, so you can fly private or with a carrier like Norwegian. We collect you from the airport with our shuttle service.
Are the snowmobiles rented?
Yes. We have snowmobiles delivered to the lodge ready to go, along with helmets and sub-zero winter protective gear.
