Below Zero.

25 February to 5 March 2022: eight days across the land of fire and ice.

Snowmobiles across the glacier. ATVs over the black sand to the DC3 plane wreck. Monster trucks on 38 inch wheels through the highlands, and buggies racing the beach at Vik. Then the quiet kind of wild: the natural ice caves, Glacier Lagoon and Diamond Beach, the waterfall at Goðafoss and the hot springs at Mývatn.

The week ended the only way it could: The Retreat at the Blue Lagoon, dinner at the Vikings house with a private chef, and an afterparty Viking style.
